One of the most experienced tour guides from the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Tour Guides escorted a group from Warners Tours, starting at Holme Lacy. They made their way to the iconic viewing point at Yat Rock, then they did a whirlwind tour of the Forest of Dean, passing by Speech House, Blakeney Straits, Soudley Valley, Mount Pleasant, Cinderford, then on to Monmouth.
After a pleasant lunch stop in Monmouth, they took a route to Chepstow which guaranteed them breathtaking views of the Wye Valley, going past Lydart, Trellech, Llanishen and Devauden. On the way back they made time to stop in at the Wye Valley’s jewel in the crown, Tintern Abbey.
The driver from Southern Star Coaches certainly looked happy with his group!
